Mission

Founded in 2022, Vahinsa aims to provide help to those in need as a result of age, ill health, disability, homelessness or socieoeconmic disadvantage.

 

Having begun with the provision of free hot meals to those most in need, we will in due course endeavour to provide other forms of assistance including shelter, care, and other services.

 

'Ahinsa'  - also sometimes spelt 'Ahimsa' - is a Sanskrit word which embodies the principle of nonviolence towards all beings. In line with this principle, all the food we produce and serve is 100% vegan.
